By registering as a freelancer on Shootjunction.com, you agree to follow these operational and professional guidelines.

Accurate Profile Information

Freelancers must provide truthful and accurate information when creating their profiles, including:

  • Professional experience
  • Portfolio samples
  • Equipment lists
  • Skills and areas of specialisation
  • Contact and payment information

Misrepresentation of work, experience, or equipment may lead to suspension or removal from the platform.

Portfolio Authenticity

All work displayed in your portfolio must be work that you have personally created or significantly contributed to.

You should clearly indicate when:

  • Work was created as part of a team
  • AI tools were used in the creation process
  • Work is conceptual or personal rather than commissioned

Project Interest and Availability

Freelancers may express interest in projects listed on the platform. When doing so, you should ensure:

  • You have the required skills and equipment
  • You are available for the project timeline
  • You can deliver within the expected quality standards

Freelancers should not express interest in projects they cannot realistically complete.

Communication Standards

Professional communication is expected at all times. Freelancers should:

  • Respond to platform communications promptly
  • Maintain respectful and professional interactions with clients
  • Keep Shoot Junction informed of any changes affecting project delivery

Harassment, abusive language, or unprofessional conduct may result in disciplinary action.

Confidentiality

Freelancers may receive access to project briefs, client information, or creative concepts.

This information must be treated as confidential and may not be shared with third parties without permission.

Platform Payment Process

All payments for projects must be routed through Shoot Junction.

Freelancers must not:

  • Request direct payments from clients
  • Offer lower pricing to bypass the platform
  • Attempt to divert projects away from Shoot Junction

Circumventing the platform payment system is considered a serious violation of platform policy.

Project Delivery Responsibilities

Freelancers are responsible for:

  • Delivering agreed services on time
  • Maintaining professional quality standards
  • Ensuring proper equipment and preparation for the assignment
  • Delivering final outputs as agreed in the project brief

Shoot Junction may assist with coordination but project execution remains the responsibility of the freelancer.

Intellectual Property

Freelancers must ensure that all work delivered:

  • Is original
  • Does not infringe on copyrights
  • Uses licensed assets where required

Any transfer of intellectual property rights to the client should be clearly agreed as part of the project terms.

Workshops and Skill Development

Shoot Junction may organise workshops and training sessions to support professional growth of freelancers.

Participation in these workshops is optional but encouraged in order to stay updated with industry standards and emerging technologies.

Three-Strike Policy

Shoot Junction follows a structured three-strike policy for violations of platform rules.

  • Strike 1 - Warning: Written warning issued.
  • Strike 2 - Temporary Suspension: Freelancer may be suspended from project opportunities for a defined period.
  • Strike 3 - Permanent Removal: Freelancer account may be permanently removed from the platform.

Serious violations may result in multiple strikes from a single incident.

Anti-Circumvention Policy

Freelancers introduced to a client through Shootjunction.com may not engage in direct commercial work with that client outside the platform for a period of 12 months without written approval from Shoot Junction.
